Sunday, January 21st: Blood Drive, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm in St. Patrick's Cafeteria. Please Join us and give the gift of Life! Requirements: Bring Donor Card or valid ID, minimum weight 110 lbs., age 16- 75, and no tattoos for past 12 months.

Wednesday, January 31st: ASR Band Christmas Concert, The All Saints band will perform its selection of songs originally intended for the snowed-out concert in December. There is an ancient custom in the Church of keeping Christmas decorations up until February 2nd, so we'll go with that and say it is still the season for Christmas cheer! We hope you can join us this afternoon at 1:00 pm in the Parish Hall at St. Patrick's/ASR.

Saturday, February 3rd: ASR Headmaster's Ball, Please save the date for the Annual ASR Headmaster’s Ball. Honoring Dr. Kathleen Walsh, Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Mr. Cantalicio Gamarra, and Mr. and Mrs. Bradford Dickson. It will be held at Jericho Terrace in Mineola, NY. Contact the school for more information.

Saturday, February 10th: St Valentine's Day Dance: Singles and couples are invited to the Church of St Rocco's Valentine's Dance, sponsored by the Holy Name Society. The evening will begin at 7:00 pm and will include music, food, door prizes, and a raffle. Tickets are $55 per adult and $25 for children and can be purchased in the parish office. During the dance, there will be a raffle. Raffle tickets are $25 each, or 5 tickets for $100. The prize is a 7-day cruise for two or $3000 cash. Good luck!

Wednesday, February 14thAsh Wednesday: Ash Wednesday is on Valentine's Day this year, so you might want to plan your romantic night for the weekend before or have a joint celebration with Mardi Gras. Please remember that Ash Wednesday is one of only two days that we Catholics are asked to fast. I imagine it could be fun and more creative to come up with other Valentine's Day date ideas rather than indulging in dinner.

Recurring Events

Every Monday at 7:30pm: Charismatic Prayer Group, Join us for a wonderful evening of prayer and fellowship. Please contact the St Patrick's parish office for more information on where the group will meet.

Every Tuesday at 7:30pm: Bible Study - the Gospel of Saint Matthew, The Gospel of Matthew is the first book of the New Testament and also the most quoted Gospel in noncanonical literature of early Christianity. You can experience the beauty of this revelation by delving into this text with other Christians under the instruction of the Canons of St. Patrick's and St. Rocco's. All are welcome! We meet in the parish center at Saint Rocco's, in the second-to-last classroom.

Every Wednesday at 9:45am: Brewed Theology, This group meets Wednesday mornings to discuss varied topics relevant to the Church in the present day. You can expect lively conversations, intellectual insights, a place to form friendships, and as the name suggests... some freshly brewed coffee! We meet in the Msgr Healey room in the convent building at Saint Patrick's, follow signs for the adoration chapel or the parish offices and you'll find us.

Every Saturday at 9:30am: Centering Prayer, Are you looking to strengthen your personal relationship with God? If so, Centering Prayer, a method of silent prayer, might be what you are looking for. Please join us Saturday morning in the convent building at Saint Patrick's. We meet in the St. Teresa of Avila room on the 2nd floor.

Weekdays: Adoration Chapel, The adoration chapel at Saint Patrick's is open Monday through Friday during parish office hours (the Blessed Sacrament may not be exposed at all times, only when a registered adorer is present). After-hours adoration is open to registered adorers during their scheduled times. If you would like to be a registered adorer or would like more information, please contact the parish office at 516-676-0276.
