 Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, while an important day, is not a Holy Day of Obligation.  Therefore, Ashes will be distributed both at Mass and at brief ceremonies.  Some ceremonies are arranged for children, but all are welcome.

Recurring Events

Every Monday at 7:30pm: Charismatic Prayer Group, Join us for a wonderful evening of prayer and fellowship. Please contact the St Patrick's parish office for more information on where the group will meet.

Every Tuesday at 7:30pm: Bible Study - during January and February  (we won't meet on February 19th due to winter break)  we will be covering the seven part series from Credible Catholic, the Seven Essential Modules.  We meet in the Monsignor Healy Room in the former Convent on the hill behind the church at St Patrick.  We start with a power point presentation and then enjoy a discussion.  Here are the subjects

- Evidence of a Soul from Medical Studies
- Evidence of God’s Existence from Science
- Proof of God’s Existence from Philosophy
- Proof of Jesus’ Resurrection and Divinity
- Why be Catholic?
- True Happiness
- Why would an all-loving God allow Suffering?

 

Every Wednesday at 9:45am: Brewed Theology, This group meets Wednesday mornings to discuss varied topics relevant to the Church in the present day. You can expect lively conversations, intellectual insights, a place to form friendships, and as the name suggests... some freshly brewed coffee! We meet in the Msgr Healey room in the convent building at Saint Patrick's, follow signs for the adoration chapel or the parish offices and you'll find us. 

Every Saturday at 9:30am: Centering Prayer, Are you looking to strengthen your personal relationship with God? If so, Centering Prayer, a method of silent prayer, might be what you are looking for. Please join us Saturday morning in the convent building at Saint Patrick's. We meet in the St. Teresa of Avila room on the 2nd floor.

Weekdays: Adoration Chapel, The adoration chapel at Saint Patrick's is open Monday through Friday during parish office hours (the Blessed Sacrament may not be exposed at all times, only when a registered adorer is present). After-hours adoration is open to registered adorers during their scheduled times. If you would like to be a registered adorer or would like more information, please contact the parish office at 516-676-0276.
