2020 First Communion Class:  First Communion Masses for the children who could not receive the sacrament as scheduled due to the Covid-19 lockdowns have been rescheduled. There will be two sessions, one for last year's 2nd graders and one for those who were in the 3rd grade or above...

- 2nd Graders:  10am on September 12th in the Parish Hall

-3rd Graders+:  10am on September 19th in the Parish Hall

OUTDOOR MASSES!

The following Sunday Masses will be held outdoors at St Rocco in their tent until the end of September:

- 10:15 AM St Rocco Mass

- 5:00 PM St Patrick Mass (transferred to the tent at St Rocco).

This Mass will return to St Patrick on October 4th.  Current numbers at the 5pm Mass will fit safely in the Church, but if numbers grow, we will move the Mass into the larger parish hall. - Fr Gabriel

PUBLIC MASS COVID PRECAUTIONS

(Versión en español)

  • The churches are limited to 50% capacity.  Considering our normal Mass attendance, there will effectively be no restrictions, however…
    • Those who are ill or experiencing active coughing are asked to remain home.
  • Social Distancing (6ft between individuals not from the same household) should be maintained. The pews will be marked off with blue masking tape indicating areas where one may not sit.
  • Masks/facial coverings should be worn while in the church except for those who…
    • Are under 2-years-old
      • Have difficulty breathing through a mask.

Reception of Holy Communion

  • Holy Communion will be distributed AFTER Mass concludes.
  • 6-foot separation should be maintained between those waiting to receive.
  • The Eucharist may be received either…
    • On the tongue (naturally, mask must be taken off just prior to reception), or
    • In the hand (gloves may not be worn out of respect for the Eucharist).
  • Please remain still during reception, allowing the minister to give the Eucharist while minimizing the chance of physical contact.
  • If physical contact is made, the minister will quickly sanitize his hands.

Events/Masses are live-streamed (when possible) at  https://www.facebook.com/GlenCoveCatholic/
